At Union Hospital, we strive to be one of the highest performing hospitals in the state and the nation. Our quality policy is: Provide safe quality care and service to all of our patients and customers. Our hospital is accredited by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Healthcare and we have an ISO 9001 certified quality management system (QMS). We are also a certified Primary Stroke Center demonstrating our commitment to provide the best possible care that a community hospital can.
ISO 9001 QMS certification means we strive to provide the most up-to-date, evidence-based care. We adhere to regulatory standards that ensure patient, staff and visitor safety. We measure ourselves and continuously strive to improve.
The Quality Improvement department is on the third floor of the hospital in rooms 3061 and 3064. Metrics and QI initiatives are reported regularly to medical staff clinical departments. Medical staff are encouraged to participate on our multidisciplinary teams.
